Baggage allowance depends on your selected fare family and itinerary. Eco Fly includes one 23 kg checked bag on most international routes, Eco Flex includes two checked bags (23 kg each), and Business fares include two bags at 32 kg each. The exact allowance for your chosen flight is shown on every result before you book and printed on your e-ticket.
If you remain within the international airside transit area of Istanbul Airport (IST) and your checked luggage is transferred directly to your onward destination, a Turkish visa is generally not required for most nationalities. You only need valid travel documents and any necessary visa for your final destination country.
